Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir until just combined (lumps are okay).
- Heat a griddle or skillet over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter.
- Pour 1/4 cup batter per pancake. Cook until bubbles form on surface. ( 2 min )
- Flip and cook until golden brown on the other side. ( 2 min )
- Serve immediately with maple syrup and fresh berries.
Dad would make these every Saturday morning. The house would fill with the smell of fresh pancakes and maple syrup.
